Labor of Love is a freestanding birth center in Lutz, Florida, just 15 miles north of Tampa. We offer a family-centered, evidence-based approach to birth with all the comforts of home. Our team of Certified Nurse Midwives is dedicated to providing comprehensive support throughout your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey.
Our midwives get to know you, value your intuition, and are experts in providing personalized care for you and your baby in an out-of-hospital setting. We encourage the use of traditional and modern coping tools for labor pain, including the use of a doula. You have complete freedom to move around, eat and drink during labor. We avoid routine IVs, constant monitoring and unnecessary interventions. We offer water birth, practice delayed cord clamping, and support uninterrupted bonding with baby. When the time comes you will be lovingly supported by a midwife and birth assistant in one of our peaceful birthing suites (we do not offer home birth).
We are in network with Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue PPO and HMO, and Humana PPO plans, and we also offer self-pay options. The majority of labs will take place in house with referrals out for more specialized needs.
