The Expo Gets A New Name

For seven years, Tampa Bay Birth Network has hosted the Natural Birth & Baby Expo. This is our biggest event of the year and it has grown from several hundred to over a thousand attendees and participants.

We are happy to announce that while everything you have grown to know and love about the Expo will be staying the same, we are making one major change. Our Expo will now be titled the Tampa Birth & Baby Expo.

The reason for this name change is simple. We support all things natural. But our main goal is to educate and raise awareness about all childbirth, pregnancy and postpartum options and resources. We want to empower all families by sharing resources and information with them that they can't find anywhere else.

For example, one of last year’s speakers was Dr. Meredith Gray from USF Health on gentle and family-centered cesareans. This is a great option for families that need a cesarean and is one example of how the information and resources that we feature at the Expo is inclusive and tailored to support all families and all possibilities.

We want our community to feel included and welcome to attend the Expo no matter which birth choices or outcomes they experience. Birth is unpredictable. TBBN strives to make the Expo a place where families can find resources to help them have the best and most positive birth and parenting experiences possible!

So join us in celebrating our new name and save the date for the 2017 Expo:
